I'm Scrapbooking

I must confess, I'm not a big scrapbooker. There's something intimidating to me about filling a 12 x 12 piece of paper that has kept me from doing much scrapbooking. But I do love to look at other people's work, browse through magazines and books on the subject, and of course collect scrapbook paper and accessories. So one of my New Year's resolutions was to do more scrapbooking this year.

This is a page I did this week. If you want a closer view just click on the photo. As you can tell by the date on the page (1998) I am a little behind. I figure, by the time my kids graduate high school I should almost have the photos of their toddler years scrapbooked. I know,....I have high expectations. But hey, you gotta have goals. Right?

Paper from Stampin'Up!(SU) in textured Very Vanilla, Night of Navy, Prints Designer Series in Old Olive, and Cerise (from Fall/Winter 07 catalog).
Chipboard letters from Basic Gray colored with SU craft ink in Real Red and Very Vanilla.
Flower from SU Pretties Kit stamped with Real Red ink using Houndstooth background stamp (retired).
The button and ribbon are from supply on hand. (In other words, they've been around so long I can't remember where they're from.)
