Diamond-Scored

Above pics are of two cards I made yesterday. I had to post photos of both cards because I couldn't decide which one I like better. If you look closely you can see the score marks. I have made similarly scored cards in the past, but they were always a pain to make. The score marks never seemed to come out even. But these cards were a lot easier to make because I used my new, favorite tool - my Scor-Pal. (See my Feb. 29th and March 7th posts.) I really like the dimension the "diamond" score pattern adds. I think the scoring almost makes the paper look like upholstery fabric.

Details: The stamps used are the Baroque background stamp from Stampin'Up! and the rose image is from Judikins. All other supplies from Stampin'Up!(top card)Very Vanilla, Purely Pomergranate, Blue Bayou, and Going Gray card stock; Blue Bayou and Purely Pomgergrante Classic Stampin' ink; Gray taffeta ribbon; ticket corner punch (bottom card) Very Vanilla, Blue Bayou, River Rock, and True Thyme card stock; River Rock and Blue Bayou Classic Stampin' ink; brads from Hodgepodge kit; ticket corner punch.
