Hi Everyone. Sorry I haven’t posted anything for a couple of weeks. I have been busy preparing my submissions for the Stampin’Up!’s 2008 Artisan Award. I have never entered any contest like this before, but 2 weeks ago I decided I’d give it a try. It was kind of a last minute decision, since I had less than 2 weeks to meet the deadline, but I thought it would be good to challenge myself.
The contest is held once a year and is open to all Stampin’Up! demonstrators who are at a Senior Associate level or above. Contestants were required to create 5 cards, 3 scrapbook pages, and 2 three-dimensional projects using only current Stampin’ Up! products. I’d love to show you what I submitted, but to comply with the contest rules I can’t post any photos of my submissions on the internet .
Overall, I was pretty happy with my submissions. Honestly though, I don’t think I have much of a chance of winning. There are some wickedly talented SU demonstrators out there. But you never know, I’ve got my fingers crossed.
