Having some fun with my new Big Shot

I finally had time this past weekend to play with my new Big Shot die cutting machine. If you haven't heard, Stampin'Up! is now carrying the Big Shot from Sizzix along with some exclusive dies - only available thru Stampin'Up! So here's one of the cards I made over the weekend.
I'm really loving this new toy. It's so easy to use and can cut thru all types of materials; chipboard, felt, vinyl, tin, balsa wood, leather, and cork to name a few. I have only used it so far with paper and chipboard, but I'm imagining all kinds of projects with it.

The Big Shot Bigz Dies® can also cut thru several layers of card stock or paper at once. This can save so much time if you are making multiple copies of a project, like holiday cards, invitations, or party favors.

To see the new Sizzix line available from Stampin'Up! click here for a pdf file of the SU! Big Shot brochure. I will definitely be posting more Big Shot projects here in the future. And if you're interested in purchasing a Big Shot of your own, please contact me. (A link to my email is at the bottom of this page.)

The Big Shot Special Edition Start Kit is definitely the best deal. For $195.95 you get the Big Shot machine, a multipurpose platform, a set of standard cutting pads, (2) Stampin'Up! exclusive Bigz Dies®, (1) Stampin'Up! exclusive Sizzlits 4-pack, (1) Stampin'Up exclusive decorative strip, a set of decorative strip cutting pads, and an extended spacer platform. Everything you need to get started! But WAIT THERE'S MORE..... Ordering the starter kit also qualifies you to recieve a free hostess level 1 stamp set and a $15 credit towards any merchandise in the SU! Fall & Winter catalog.

Well, I'm back to play some more. Post more later.
