Embossing Magic Episode 7: Tips for Embossing on Glass, Metal, & Wood.

I was very productive today and got two videos taped and edited. In this video I share some ideas and tips for heat embossing on different materials, other than card stock. If you are like me, once you become hooked on heat embossing you will find all types of projects and materials to heat emboss.

Just a reminder, as I stated in the video, do not heat emboss plastic. Besides melting it, heating plastic with the heat gun will release toxic fumes. Hope you enjoy the video and I'd love to hear (and see) any ideas you come up with. Post a comment or email a photo and I'll post it here.

Embossing Magic Episode 6: Cracked Glass Technique

Hello, again. Sorry to have been gone for so long. It seems to be that time of the year when things begin to get really busy, but I finally found time to tape a video tutorial on another one of my favorite heat embossing techniques. This episode features a technique known as cracked glass. With this technique you can create the look of vintage glass. Hope you have fun "aging" some of your projects.

It is very difficult to photograph these so that the "cracks" show, but you can click on any image below for a closer look.

Please note: I had to split the tutorial into two parts due to the 10-minute time limit on videos posted to youtube.com. So be sure to watch both parts.
