After a somewhat longer hiatus then I intended, I'm finally back and had a chance to put together this tutorial. I hope you enjoy it.
Here is the list of supplies you will need for this technique.
- Black card stock
- White ink (white pigment ink or StazOn)
- Rubber stamp
- Color pencils
- Pencil sharpener
- Sansodor (low odor solvent)
- Fixative

Oh wow that is just gorgeous, it really does look like a painting, can you use the mineral spirits instead of the sansodor? Thanks so much for all you share!
Yes, I believe you can also use mineral spirits. I haven't actually tried it, but I think it would work the same. You just need something to "soften" the lead of the pencils.
And thank YOU for your kind words.

What a great video. Can't wait to give it a try. Could I use hair spray as a fixative? I have used it in the past for chalk pastels.
Thanks again. I am so glad to see you back with new techniques.
